Word Deduction

Type any valid word of the chosen length and press Enter or Submit. Real words, plurals and proper names are all accepted.

Each ✓ means one letter in your guess is somewhere in the hidden word. You only get a count — no positions are revealed. The challenge is deducing which letters matched.

Once you've proven a letter is not in the word, click / tap it in the Alphabet strip to grey it out. This keeps your thinking organised as you narrow down the possibilities.

When you've proven a letter is in the word, drag it / long-press from the Alphabet to the Work Table. Use it to build guesses around your confirmed letters. Jumble rearranges them into new positions (5 uses, needs 4+ letters). Tap a slot to remove it. Reset clears everything.

Guess bonus starts at 300 pts and steps down with each guess. A time bonus applies for the first 10 minutes — after that the clock turns red. Only an exact match wins. Max guesses: 5-letter → 20, 6-letter → 25.

Tap Reveal at any time to see the answer and end the game. No score is awarded, but your reveal count is tracked separately on the scoreboard.
